Princess Eugenie's wedding dress

It would be hard to deny (and who would want to) that Princess Eugenie struck absolutely the right note with her fabulous Peter Pilotto portrait neckline gown when she married Jack Brooksbank on 12th October 2018. The dress, with low back draping into a full length train, was designed to show boldly the bride's scar from surgery as a child. It was made of bespoke silk in a woven jacquard containing a thistle from Scotland, the York Rose, a shamrock from Ireland and ivy to represent the couple's home.
Taking the opposite approach to the Duchess of Sussex, Princess Eugenie eschewed a veil, wearing only the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik tiara lent to her by her grandmother, The Queen. Whilst most brides simply could not afford to have fabric made especially for them there are a wealth of fabulous silk fabrics readily available for brides taking the bespoke option.
